Bioplastics and Green Composites 2010
A workshop is taking place at the Delta Hotel in Guelph, Ontario, Canada, from March 31 to April 1, 2010.
It is estimated, say its organisers, that the global bioplastics market is growing at more than 25% per year and experts predict that annual bioplastic production will exceed 50-billion pounds by 2015.
This timely workshop will examine some of the most recent discoveries in bio-based materials, chemicals and fuels and present case studies from industry leaders including Mazda, Ford, DSM, DuPont, C G Tower and The Woodbridge Group.
Experts from academia and industry will present their latest findings and developments in this evolving industry.
The workshop will be led by Professor Amar K. Mohanty of the Bioproducts Discovery and Development Centre (BDDC), University of Guelph.
